This Privacy Policy describes how WorkerB LLC (“WorkerB,” “we,” or “us”) handles information in connection with our software platform used by landscaping and related service businesses (our “customers”) to manage projects and communicate with their customers (“end users”). WorkerB operates as a software provider and ISV; each landscaping company is a separate business and is the brand identified to end users in SMS message content. End users are the landscaping company’s customers, not WorkerB’s customers for messaging purposes.
Scope
This policy covers information processed when landscaping businesses use WorkerB to send transactional, customer-care SMS related to active service projects (for example scheduling, reminders, proposals, service updates, and billing). What we collect
Depending on how the landscaping business uses WorkerB, we may process:
- Mobile phone number — provided by the end user to the landscaping business for project-related texts.
- Customer name — if the business stores it in WorkerB for that contact or project.
- Project and contact details — such as job or project identifiers, appointment times, proposal or invoice references, and similar information needed to send contextual transactional messages.
How we use information
We use the information above solely to operate the service and deliver the messages the landscaping business initiates, including:
- Job scheduling notifications
- Job reminders
- Proposal delivery (for example, links to view a proposal)
- Service updates
- Billing notifications
No marketing or promotional messages are sent through this SMS workflow. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. End users may reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help, as described in our SMS terms & conditions.
How we protect information
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the service, including access controls and industry-standard protections for data in transit when supported by our systems and subprocessors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we work to safeguard information consistent with our role as a software platform.
Sharing; no mobile information for marketing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers (such as telecommunications carriers and our messaging infrastructure providers) only as necessary to deliver SMS communications and operate the service.
Consent and the landscaping business
The landscaping business collects consent from its customer before enrolling them in SMS—using the live web opt-in form, verbal consent, or both as described on our SMS consent & opt-in page. WorkerB does not replace that relationship.
