WorkerB

SMS consent & opt-in

This page documents how transactional SMS works for customers of landscaping companies that use WorkerB LLC software. WorkerB is the software platform and ISV ; the landscaping company is the end business whose name appears in message content. End users are the landscaping company’s customers.

Live web opt-in (branded)

Customers may agree to receive transactional SMS using a public web form hosted in the WorkerB app. The form shows the landscaping company’s name (and logo when configured), collects first and last name and an optional U.S. mobile number, and presents the same disclosures used on the live page: the business may send text messages about scheduling, reminders, service updates, proposal delivery, and billing; messages are sent using WorkerB as the software platform; message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help; with links to the Privacy Policy and SMS terms & conditions.

There is no separate consent checkbox (carrier guidance for transactional sign-up). The page shows a sign-up agreement with program name, message types, frequency, rates, STOP/HELP, and policy links; the customer enters their name and may enter a mobile number; tapping Continue with a valid number records SMS consent—without a number, no SMS enrollment is recorded, consistent with industry guidance for transactional SMS web opt-in without a separate consent checkbox.

Example (Native Landscapes & Gardens):

Your landscaping company’s public URL uses its own slug after /sms-opt-in/ once enabled in WorkerB.

How the messaging flow works

  1. A landscaping company uses WorkerB to manage active service projects.
  2. The customer provides a mobile phone number during a real service interaction with that company.
  3. The landscaping company collects consent to send transactional texts, as described below.
  4. SMS messages are sent in connection with that active project.
  5. Message content identifies the landscaping company as the business contacting the customer—not WorkerB as the customer-facing brand.

Messages are transactional and customer-care only . No marketing or promotional messages are sent through this workflow.

Who collects consent

The landscaping company (the business you hired) collects consent from its customer. WorkerB supplies the software and messaging infrastructure; it does not replace the landscaping company’s obligation to obtain appropriate consent before sending texts.

When consent is collected

Consent may be obtained in either of these ways:

  • Web: the customer completes the live opt-in form for that business (see Live web opt-in above).
  • Verbal: during project consultation, scheduling discussions, proposal review, or contract agreement.

What the customer is agreeing to receive

Customers who agree may receive transactional texts about:

  • Job scheduling notifications
  • Job reminders
  • Proposal delivery
  • Service updates
  • Billing notifications

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help—the same disclosures shown on the live web form.

Verbal consent script (exact wording)

Landscaping businesses using WorkerB may use the following script when obtaining consent in person or by phone:

We can send you text messages about scheduling, reminders, service updates, proposal delivery, and billing. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Do you agree to receive these messages?

Only customers who agree (via the live web opt-in form and/or verbal consent, as applicable) are enrolled to receive these SMS messages for that relationship.
